Our inspiring journey to the stage

Kindred Spirits Theatre was born from a powerful community response. After a local high school play faced an unfortunate cancellation due to content concerns, parents of the students launched a crowdfunding campaign. The overwhelming support and generosity they received allowed us to produce the play at a different venue, igniting the spark for what would become Kindred Spirits Theatre. This event cemented our commitment to ensuring artistic voices are heard and supported.

Meet the heart of Kindred Spirits Theatre

Our vision comes to life through the dedication of our leadership and supporting members. Zeb Pickering-Polstra serves as President, Jeff Horick as Vice-President, Darlene Yuellig as Secretary, and Laura Pickering-Polstra as Treasurer. Our invaluable supporting members include Jenna Horick, Gordon Yuellig, Emma Brown, Bill Alexander, Carleen Alexander, Jon Pickering-Polstra, Mark Holmes and Leslie Holmes. Together, we work tirelessly to bring compelling theatre to Southern Ohio.

Connecting with the Southern Ohio community

Kindred Spirits Theatre Company is deeply rooted in the Souther Ohio community. We actively engage through various programs, including providing scholarships to economically disadvantaged students for the Paxton Theatre Children's Theatre Camp and offering tickets to local productions. We have also proudly donated funds to purchase equipment for a local school's theatre program, fostering the next generation of artists and enthusiasts.
